Exhibition Description

Stelo Arts

February 7th - April 9th | 12PM - 5PM, Thursday - Saturday

Dear Portland, is an immersive storytelling experience that shines a light on the lived experience of our neighbors here in Portland who are impacted by the housing shortage. Putting human stories behind statistics, it inspires compassion, highlights solutions, and calls for action on Oregon’s most urgent issue: housing and homelessness. The exhibit includes both an in-person experience and an online learning hub.

Sneak Peek at First Thursday  
‍Thursday, February 5, 2026 | 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. (right before Portland’s First Thursday). 

‍Get a behind-the-scenes look at the Dear Portland exhibition with curators and storytellers before the First Thursday gallery opening.  A limited number of tickets are available for the private sneak. Free to attend. Door will open at 5pm for First Thursday gallery opening.

Public Grand Opening & Block Party
Join us to celebrate the official launch of Dear Portland with a winter block party.  
Date: Saturday, February 7, 2026  | 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Exhibition open until 5:00 p.m.)  

Enjoy fresh donuts, hot coffee and tea, live music, and community connection. Free and open to the public. While no RSVP is required, booking a free ticket online helps us manage gallery capacity.
