Space to Share

Our Space to Share (S2S) program operates  from both our downtown urban gallery/flex space in Portland, OR and from our rural campus at Camp Colton in Colton, OR. It is an initiative Stelo designed to live its core value of resource sharing by making the spaces it stewards accessible to mission-aligned artists, organizations, and communities. The program aims to provide supportive and restorative experiences that build capacity, foster connection, collaboration, and healing.

S2S is not merit- or need-based; rather, it is responsive to availability and synchronicity.

Spacious bedroom with large three windows with blinds, hardwood floors, a bed with a white headboard and bedding, a small wooden desk with a lamp, a chair, a chair with a blanket, and a blue and white rug.

Park Blocks Apartment Share

One of the ways we support artists, creatives, and community orgs is by offering subsidized sliding scale rental of our studio apartment in downtown Portland. Rentals are offered to our program partners and alumni. When partnering with a peer arts institution, the S2S program supplies presenting organizations with additional infrastructure for guest artists to develop work for an upcoming local exhibition, teaching tenure, or public project.

Park Block Flex Space

Our Gallery Space offers a welcoming, fully accessible environment for mission-aligned organizations to gather. This flexible gallery can comfortably host up to 50 guests, providing an inspiring backdrop for community dialogues, educational workshops, and daytime retreats. With a highly adaptable layout and a small shared kitchen, it is designed to be a creative space for groups looking to foster connection, share resources, and build capacity right in the city.

An art gallery interior with white walls, wooden columns, and polished concrete floors. Artwork is displayed on the walls and small sculptures in glass cases on metal stands.

Camp Colton

At Camp Colton, we invite mission-aligned organizations to step away and immerse themselves in the quiet rhythm of the forest. Surrounded by historic woodlands and tranquil trails, our rural campus provides a soft, restorative backdrop for team retreats, collaborative workshops, and healing nature experiences. By offering sliding-scale access to our overnight accommodations, outdoor work areas, and gathering spaces, we hope to share our deep respect for this land while giving your community the room to connect, reflect, and build capacity together.
