Core Residency

ROOTING - 2022

As Ridhi’s second year in residence continues to unfold in 2022, we will share opportunities to engage with them via our social media pages on Instagram and Facebook, along with special event announcements.

Be sure to visit Ridhi’s website at https://www.ridhidcruz.net to learn more about their creative practice.

SEEDING - 2021

We are excited to announce that Ridhi D’Cruz has been awarded a core residency. We look forward to supporting Ridhi’s multi-faceted practice as they spend time deeply connecting with the land at our rural campus in Colton, Oregon and our downtown Portland location on the North Park Blocks.

The core residency is adaptive to the invited resident, and offers the space, time, and resources needed to make new work, from concept to completion over an approximate two year duration. It is a low residency program that connects the resident to communities through partnerships and programs.

We embrace intuitive and experimental possibilities via our core values of emergence, curiosity, community, care and place. By offering long term, relational, and value aligned support, we seek to offer a residency that is co-created with the resident, in response to their evolving needs and interests. As our relationship with Ridhi unfolds, we look forward to sharing ways to connect with their practice.
